AL Piedmont Pollinator Mix mesic-dry 25% Grass

This 28 species, diverse pollinator mix is designed for the state of Alabama. This mix with 25% grasses would best be used in areas where prescribed fire is utilized as a management tool. Higher grass % helps carry fire, however burning in the growing season may lead to more grasses post-burn. It meets the standards for CRP, EQIP, CSP, and most other conservation programs (*Be sure to check eligibility with your NRCS office if you are purchasing for a program*). Mix summary: Grass (6 species, %PLS 25.48, seeds sqft 9.869), Forbs/Legumes (28 species, %PLS 74.52, seeds sqft 28.866). Total seeds/sqft: 38.735.

This mix is *not* pre-bulked with rice hulls but bulking is recommended to help seed flow through drill or broadcast seeder (bulk examples: rice hulls in dormant season seedings, oats in spring/fall, pelletized lime etc.)

All species are combined into one mix. If you need your seed separated or bulked please contact us directly to place your order. Updated: 6/11/24.
